The following is what your wedding band includes as standard for an evening performance:

Wedding Band Optional Extras

Our wedding band add ons are a great way to include something extra to your wedding band performance, and take that night to a whole other level. 

If you are wanting something that is not included below then please reach out. We endeavour to make everyone’s musical dreams happen no matter the request. 

Have The Cat & Mac Acoustic Duo perform for 2 x 45 minute sets during your wedding day. 

A great way to elevate your wedding day and have live daytime music to entertain your guests. Great for moments such as the wedding ceremony, drinks reception or during the wedding breakfast. 

If you are wanting the duo to perform during the ceremony, they perform for 30 minutes before the ceremony and will then perform songs for the bride entrance and for the aisle walk after proceedings.

Have a member of the band play a personalised playlist after they have finished their second band set.

A great option if your hired wedding venue does not include speakers. 

This playlist will be used in between the wedding bands 1st and 2nd sets, and then until the end of the evening. Making sure you have loud, personalised, party music to entertain you and your guests until the very end. 

An amazing option for those who really can not decide whether to hire a wedding band or hire a wedding DJ. 

All music from the start of the evening to the end is catered to you and your guests with the sole focus of getting everyone up and dancing. 

The DJ will arrive and be in control of all music between 7pm – 12 midnight (other than during the band sets). 

Our wedding DJs will work with you in the run up to your wedding to get a playlist of songs you and your partner love. This allows your DJ to know what music you love and want to hear throughout the night. 

Add a saxophonist to the DJ portion of your evening. 

The saxophonist will perform 2 x 30 minute sets across the evening and will fully roam and interact with you and your guests. 

For those of you who want to bring a touch of the Ibiza nightlife style to your wedding, hiring a DJ Sax team finishes your wedding with a bang, making it a night to remember! 

Wanting to elevate the band experience by adding a saxophonist to the line up? 

No problem! All of our bands offer the option to have a sax player included with their line up.

For those of you who want it all!

A wedding DJ catering to your specific music tastes. A saxophonist performing alongside your wedding band and an interactive DJ Sax performance to end the evening on a high.

Here are some general FAQs regarding wedding band hire. If you find we have not managed to answer your question please do get in touch. At Start to Finish Music we love to offer a bespoke service to our clients and are always more than happy to help. 

Make your first dance truly unforgettable with a live performance from your chosen wedding band! All of our wedding bands for hire are happy to learn and play your first dance, free of charge, adding a unique and romantic touch to your wedding party.

 

To ensure the band has ample time to rehearse, send us your first dance song request as soon as possible. If your chosen song is outside their regular repertoire, do not worry! Our wedding bands are all professional musicians and are more than happy to learn new repertoire to make your night as special as possible.

 

While most of our wedding bands for hire can learn and perform popular choices, we understand if you have a unique song that holds specific meaning to you and you want that exact version played. Your wedding band will be more than happy to use their high-quality PA speakers to play your song off of a device, making sure you get exactly what you want.

All of our wedding bands realise that weddings have a range of generations attending and therefore, music tastes vary. This is why our wedding bands cover a broad spectrum of genres, making sure there is something for everyone.

 

Each of our wedding bands for hire have a signature sound, blending a great mix of classic hits and modern favourites with a focus on their chosen genre, be it Pop, RnB, Motown or Soul.

Want to personalise your wedding band’s setlist? No problem. Each of our wedding bands have an example setlist on their act page. If there are any songs you want them to perform, they will be more than happy to do so. Similarly, if you want to make sure certain songs are not performed, that is also fine. We want to make their performance as special as possible for you.

 

If there is a song you really want the wedding band to perform and it unfortunately does not feature on their example set list, then just let us know. There is a small additional fee but all our wedding bands are more than happy to learn extra songs to help make your wedding perfect.

Each of our wedding bands offer an acoustic duo for any daytime performances. From the ceremony to the drinks reception or even during the meal, they are happy to perform and help create the perfect vibe to fit your day.

The wedding bands all offer a variety of extra packages to help make your evening extra special.

 

Keep the dance-floor busy with one of our wedding DJs taking over after your chosen wedding band. Or, for an unforgettable experience, level up with our DJ Sax add-on, where a roaming saxophonist performs over your wedding DJ, hyping up and interacting with your guests to ensure a night to remember. 

Our wedding bands will all dress for the occasion and will make sure they are smart for you. If you are having a themed wedding, such as black tie, then they will be more than happy to accommodate any requests.

Our wedding bands bring all their own high end professional equipment for your event.

However, they’re also adaptable. If your venue has specific sound limitations or requires the band to use their speakers, we will liaise with the venue to make sure everything sounds phenomenal for your special day.

All our wedding bands have a travel charge of 45p per mile, per car, included on top of the quoted price. If your venue is further than 3 hours we do ask for accommodation to be provided for the band, for safety reasons.

 

All prices listed on our site are starting prices, exclusive of travel and accommodation costs, and change depending on whether your wedding is mid-week or at peak time.

Once you have decided which wedding band you want, and any add-ons, then get in touch to get a personalised quote. Once all the details are sorted we take a small deposit to confirm everything, and then the final payment is to be made around 2 weeks before your big day.
